Client

The assignment was set by the Experience Design minor at the University of the Arts Utrecht (HKU). The minor was about learning how to create a meaningful experience that could be exposed in a museum or in the public space.

Project

This was the final assignment, where we had to implement all the material we learned in the last twenty weeks. I let myself inspire by the concept of experiencing time. My final product was a combination of different aspects of time. I made two spaces with two different assignments. One where you would be in the dark (so you couldn’t see), you heard an soundscape and had to fill bags with sand. The other was in the light, there was a lamp as a metaphor for the sun, you heard nice pop music in a headphone and had to make a sandcastle.
